Become a Part of SRTMS

We are always welcoming new students to the SRTMS family, and we hope that you join us!  We hope to have in-person tours happening soon, but we must wait until protocols allow it.  Please see our virtual tour on the front page if you would like to see the school.  Our 2021-2022 school brochure will be available soon.

There are three ways to enroll at SRTMS.

1) Neighborhood - Students that live in the Santa Rosa Valley (roughly, from the Tuscan Grove development to the light at the Moorpark Road intersection) are enrolled first because SRTMS is considered their neighborhood school.  For those families in the "neighborhood," please call the school office at (805) 383-5355 to understand the next steps in the enrollment process.

2) Intra-District Choice - Families within the PVSD that would like to transfer to SRTMS must fill out the "Choice Form" during the yearly enrollment period.  You must enroll at your home school regardless of the outcome of your request to transfer to SRTMS.  This "Choice" period runs from January until the beginning of March.  Students who are selected for "Choice" by the PVSD Enrollment office will have the option to accept the transfer to SRTMS.  Once accepted, SRTMS becomes that student's home school, and you'll finish any remaining pieces to the enrollment process at SRTMS.

The number of available intra-district spots at SRTMS varies based on the number of classes offered per grade level and the number of neighborhood students already enrolled at the school.  If you would like to "Choice" to SRTMS outside of the enrollment period, you must call the PVSD Enrollment office at (805) 389-2100.

It's important to note that all inquiries regarding "Choice" are handled through the PVSD Student Services/Enrollment office.  The school site administration and office staff defer any decisions regarding enrollment to the Student Services/Enrollment office.

3) Inter-District Choice - This is the option for families who live outside of the PVSD boundaries that would like to attend SRTMS.  You must first obtain an inter-district transfer from your home school district.  Once you have received this document, you should then go to the PVSD Enrollment office to fill out the inter-district transfer request form.  On that form, please request your child to attend SRTMS.  The PVSD Enrollment office will then determine if your request will be accepted, and notify you of a possible spot at SRTMS.  If you accept the opening, you will come to the SRTMS office to finish the enrollment process.  The inter-district transfer window runs from January-March.  This process may take some time, so please be patient.  Many times, inter-district transfer students are accepted up to the first day of school.
