Student of the Month

Student of the Month

SRTMS recognizes one student in each classroom (Tk-5) or subject area (middle school) per month for exceptional efforts.  The students are selected based on the character word of the month and how well they exemplify the tenets of our Be the Joy program.  

Few students receive this award per year and it is something for the students to be proud of.  The students are given a recognition assembly with the principal, a certificate and other rewards, and an individual photo with the principal.

The character words of the month for 2023-2024 are:

September -  Ambitious

October -  Responsibility 

November -  Perseverance 

December - Kindness/Joyful

January - Cooperation

February - Honesty

March - Curiosity / Artistic

April - School Spirit

May - Leadership
